The students were systematically arranged in rows which when seen from above had the words ALVAS inscribed in the three colours of our national flag. The students also set tricolour balloons free into the air, thereby symbolizing freedom. The programme held at KV Subbana Open Auditorium was made all the more vibrant with the smart cadets of NCC, NSS and Scouts. Lively and Soulful music played by the Mother Theresa band from Honnavar also added to the patriotic fervour.
